Let the “Physical Detox Games” begin!!!

For the ones who are not a big fan of smoothies and juices, this might not sound very interesting, but these are definitely very good for your body. For cleansing it from toxins. I always think I should not be prejudicial about anything, I should try and see if I like it or not. Sometimes actually things that you do not like the first time you try, grow in you when you try them a few more times.

Here is the first juice… This one is very rich in vitamin C and natural sodium, both of which are very good for your adrenal glands.

 4 scrubbed and trimmed carrots

2 celery stalks

2 tomatoes

1 small bunch of parsley

Dash of hot sauce

Pinch of salt

Cut produce to fit your juicer’s tube.  Juice ingredients and stir.  Pour into a glass and drink as soon as possible. Serves 2

Another juice full of vitamin C and immune-boosting ingredients is this one;

1/2 green apple

1 small bunch of spinach

1 lemon, peeled

1-inch-chunk ginger root

Cut produce to fit your juicer’s tube. Juice ingredients and stir. Pour into a glass and drink as soon as possible. Serves 1

Juices are the main vehicles to detox our system. Because we can eat so much of a vegetable or fruit, but by juicing them, we get them in much bigger amounts than just eating them. Also, most of the vegetables and fruits could be juiced as a whole without peeling or removing seeds, which lets us benefit from everything they can offer.

You do not have to have them every day, but if you can try having them at least a couple of times a week, you will see and feel the positive effects very fast. You will start feeling lighter, less bloated and healthier. You will see that cold and flu will stay away from you.

I will share one or two juice every once in a while and I hope you try and like them. Just like I do. Enjoy and Cheers!
