First time since 1905

Even though we do not feel like spring in most parts of the northern hemisphere yet, today we are stepping into the beginning of a new season with the Spring Equinox of 2019. And as a nice coincidence, it is coming together with the “Full Worm Super Moon,” the third and final full super moon of 2019. The moon will appear slightly larger in the sky tonight. This is the first time equinox and FWSM happening at the same time since 1905, and it will not happen again until 2144. So, it is quite a rarety in itself.

Spring is the season which is associated with new beginnings, cleansing and changes. We can see all this in the flowers which peak out of the ground, or in the birth of some cute and beautiful baby animals.

The importance of the spring season is that the daylight will start increasing, so we will experience more light such as illuminating, reminding us that the light will always return to earth. Hence, this equinox is the representation of new life and light, new beginnings, path, and seeds. It is also, definitely the best period of the year, in order to focus on some new projects, or get rid of something which doesn’t serve us anymore, and to find the balance we need in life. The time of new beginnings, renewal, and growth.

On the other hand, the Full Worm Super Moon that will take place tonight means this; a full moon that looks bigger than normal as it comes to its closest approach to the Earth, and that symbolizes the emergence of worms in the soil with the hesitant arrival of spring.

Here you go, another excuse to celebrate: under the bright light of a gorgeous moon enjoy the new doors that are opening to you. Have a happy spring!
